Bilingual Parent Night

As a guiding pillar of its mission, the Foundation supports education through a variety of events and initiatives that strengthen student learning, family engagement, and community connection throughout Hammonton and the surrounding area. Most recently, its involvement in the Bilingual Parent Night at Warren E. Sooy Elementary School helped support bilingual families while fostering stronger relationships between Hammonton Public Schools and the broader community. Through contributions including books for every child in attendance and two bicycles donated as raffle prizes, the Foundation helped make the event both meaningful and memorable. Looking ahead, the Foundation remains committed to continuing its participation and financial support of future bilingual parent events, further reinforcing its dedication to diversity, inclusivity, and community engagement.

One Book Every Child

The Foundation supports literacy development through its “One Book, Every Child” initiative, which provides annual funding for students at the Hammonton Early Childhood Center and Warren E. Sooy Elementary School. By ensuring every child has the opportunity to personally select and take home a book of their own, the program makes reading accessible, personal, and enjoyable while promoting early literacy, supporting academic achievement, and fostering a lifelong love of reading. These initiatives represent just the beginning of the Foundation’s long-term commitment to expanding educational opportunities and support for students and families throughout the community.
